• Beach Volleyball reached Olympic status in 1996
• Beach Soccer is now a part of the FIFA family, and have completed its third world cup tournament in 07
• Beach soccer will be an Olympic sport in Beijing in 2008

LBS wishes to provide the people of Australia the services and facilities to enable participation in these emerging sports in an outdoor environment, and with a greater sense of community.
