2008 Beach Soccer Championship - Mens Registration
Competition Details
The tournament will hold a format with pool play and playoffs. You can enter any name as long as it is not abusive or offensive. There will be medals for all finalists. Both the girls comp and guys comp will be running alongside each other so there will be a great feel to it all. Once teams are entered we can then finalize groups and times for teams.
Conditions
Entry period closes 7 days prior to each specific event, with entries received after the guaranteed deadline being taken on a first come first serve basis. The organisers also reserve the right to refuse any entry, with no entry transfer or withdrawals accepted. There are no refunds. Confirmation of entry will be sent via email or post once all payments and forms are completed.
Player Uniforms
Teams have the option of having their own matching uniforms or will be provided with bibs on match day.
Event Services
All courts will be set up according to competition level standards. Water, sunscreen and footsocks will be made available in the administrations tent area as well as other merchandising. Public toilets and waste bins can be found in the events surroundings. LBS recommends that all players seek medical advice as the event makes specific demands on the body. It is important to be fit to compete. Take important steps to insure that you are hydrated prior and during match day events. We also recomment that supplies such as sunscreen, sunglasses, caps and suitable uniforms are to taken into account by players. Change for parking meters and adequate time for car parking should also be taken into account.
Wet Weather Contingency
In the event of excessive wet weather or site problems, LBS, in the interest of competitor safety, reserves the right to delay all matches, change formats and attempt to notify all teams on the occurring changes.
Timetable
A timesheet including match time and dates will be given to players once all teams have been entered. It is in the players best interest to be quick as teams will be filled fast.

Match Format
Adult competitions will have 2 x 12 minute playing halves, with finals to be played in thirds. The competition is in a pool play format followed by elimination rounds. Pool play is a minimum of three games to be completed in one day. Hard footwear is not allowed in tournaments, foot strapping and footsocks being the only exception (can be provided from LBS). Each tam can have a maximum of five substitutes that can be rotated frequently during adult and junior matches.
