Beach Soccer Victorian Carnival under way

What a way to kick off the weekend with plenty of goals, fun and passion that only beach soccer can bring. Goals were a plenty and THEY were going in with the beats to the music which gave it a great carnival feel.

The Saturday had displayed 2 groups of 4 and it was great competition of both latin flavour mixed with euro flair. Team Quest had breezed through their group winning all games and are looking favourites to win it. But Pichanga boys are still in there and keeping their chances alive. The top two of each group qualify and the 2 best 3rd placings out of the groups qualify as well.

The Sunday turned out to be a great day of high quality entertainment and close games. Jogo Bonita who are seeded favourites for the tournament had won their group, but it wasnt as easy as they had hoped. Both Rimini and los Chilenos gave them a good run. The surprise packets were Rimini, as they had drawn all their games and played some great beach soccer.

The pick of the day was definitely the girls. There was some great goals along with some fine skills on display for all to see. There was some real talent among the girls and LBS hope to see more of these girls over the years to come.
